The IOA has constituted an inquiry committee to look into the allegations made by India’s wrestlers against WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Member of this committee and wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt said in a conversation with news agency ANI on Saturday morning that the matter will be investigated seriously.
He said that any issue can be resolved through dialogue, but no middle ground can be found in the matter of sexual harassment. He further said, “Action should be taken against whoever is guilty. If the allegations turn out to be false, then it will be found out why they were leveled and what is the purpose of leveling them?”
Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt said that the inquiry committee will make a report in 8 to 10 days after hearing both the sides. He said that apart from Sports Ministry and Home Ministry, we will also send the investigation report to PM Narendra Modi.
