On the London incident, pro-Khalistani British Sikh Labor MP Tanmanjit Singh Dhesi tweeted that worrying news is coming from India. Large scale arrests are taking place in Punjab and the internet has been blacked out. Along with this, he also talked about respecting the human rights of all. The answer has been given by the Congress regarding this. Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that why Khalistan is not made in Britain? You are nurturing Khalistani sentiments in your country. Still, it will not fetch you fresh votes from the seat of Slough constituency, which has a sizeable section of pro-Pakistan population.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that this incident is shocking. The problem is not inside the High Commission but outside the premises where the security is the responsibility of the local authorities. If the police there are negligent in their work and allow such an incident to happen then it is an insult which we cannot tolerate.
