Some reports say that when will the company release its first foldable device?
New Delhi: Samsung, Huawei Exclusive and two companies were in competition with each other for a long time in foldable phones. Now more companies are coming up with their foldable phones. After announcing the Google Pixel Fold, there are reports that OnePlus is the next competitor in the foldables race. Some reports say that the company will release its first foldable device.
Reliable tipster Max Jauber said in a tweet that OnePlus’s foldable phone will be launched in August. The timeline means that the phone is likely to be launched after Pixel Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 5. If true, it means the phone will boot to Android 13 within a month or two regardless of the expected launch date of Android 14.
At the OnePlus 11 launch earlier this year, OnePlus first hinted at its upcoming foldable device by releasing teasers of the phone. A short teaser was played at the end of the event. The phone will arrive in the third quarter of 2023. Teaser revealed.
Not much is known about the upcoming foldable phone, like many other products it is not known whether it will be rebranded by Oppo. But a trademark listing from January includes the OnePlus V Fold, so unless the company changes its mind, the phone is likely to carry that name. Considering the phone will be a flagship, it can be expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8G processor and have a premium camera set.
