In another major blow to the Adani group, the market value of the shares has halved
The report by American investment firm and short seller Hindenburg hit Adani Group companies. The Hindenburg report appeared on January 24, 2023, and since then the shares of the group companies have been under pressure. Adani Group companies’ shares also fell sharply on Friday. Shares of Adani Enterprises fell as much as 30% in early trade. However, the stock later saw a good recovery and the company’s stock closed with a jump. Adani Group’s market value has fallen below Rs 10 crore due to the fall in shares. The market value of the group’s shares was above Rs 16 lakh before the Hindenburg report came out.

The Supreme Court on Friday expressed its strong displeasure over the delay in the transfer of High Courts (HC) judges. A transfer list of many judges is pending at the Centre. Expressing grave concern over the issue, the apex court warned that delay in remittances may lead to administrative action which you may not like. A bench headed by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul said the transfer was a serious matter.
