WFI Chief vs Wrestlers: The ongoing fight between the Indian wrestlers and the Wrestling Federation has now reached the High Court. Indian Wrestling Association President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against the wrestlers who accused him. In this petition, many wrestlers including Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik have been named as accused. In this filed petition, it has been said that the wrestlers have misused the sexual exploitation law and have made a mockery of the judicial system. If there has been sexual harassment with any wrestler, then he should have complained to the police station and demanded justice through court and legal process.

In the petition filed in the Delhi High Court, it has been said to register an FIR against many players including Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia. The wrestlers have been accused of abusing the legal process and forcibly forcing the head of the wrestling association to resign.
Advocate Shariksant Prasad, after filing the petition, said that the petitioner in this case is Vicky, who lives at 21, Ashoka Road, the official residence of Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and is working as his cook.

The petition further alleges that the protesting players have tarnished Brij Bhushan’s reputation and honor by publicly making serious allegations of sexual harassment of female wrestlers.
Please tell that at Jantar Mantar, the wrestlers were sitting on a dharna against Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The wrestlers had made serious allegations of sexual harassment against him and demanded his removal. On Saturday (January 21), the Sports Ministry suspended its secretary Vinod Tomar along with the Wrestling Federation after allegations of harassment and dharna by wrestlers in Delhi. Late on Friday, the wrestlers had decided to end the strike after a meeting with Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur. Along with this, the activities of WFI were immediately banned till the completion of the investigation into the allegations of the wrestlers. The Sports Minister had decided to constitute a monitoring committee on this whole matter. This committee will complete its investigation in 4 weeks and investigate the allegations leveled against WFI and its President.
