Wrestlers Protest: Wrestling veterans have accused the President of Wrestling Federation of India, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, of sexual harassment. On this the players protested at Jantar Mantar (Wrestlers Protest) and met the Sports Minister. Meanwhile, the Sports Ministry has issued a notice to the Speaker and sought a reply within 72 hours. On this, the WFI has submitted its reply to the Sports Ministry on the allegations of sexual harassment against the president. WFI WFI said in its reply that the strike demonstration of wrestlers is just a conspiracy to remove personal interest and the current management. He said that this is a conspiracy to defame the president and the federation.

The Wrestling Federation of India has written in its reply that according to the way the players are protesting, it seems that these wrestlers are tarnishing the image of the federation under a conspiracy for personal interest. He said that there is no arbitrariness of anyone including the president personally in the federation and there is no hope of bad management.

Let us tell you that the IOA has constituted a seven-member committee on Friday to investigate the allegations of sexual harassment against WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, which includes players like Yogeshwar Dutt and Mary Kom. Apart from this, archer Dola Banerjee and Indian Weightlifting Federation President Sahdev Yadav have been included in the panel.
