Monday’s shooting at a Des Moines school left two students dead and a teacher injured. Police gave this information. The shooting occurred at an educational program called Starts Right Here, which is affiliated with the Des Moines School District. Police said emergency service personnel were called to the school just before 1:00 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two students in critical condition and immediately administered CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) on them. Both the students died in the hospital. The seriously injured teacher underwent surgery on Monday afternoon itself. About 20 minutes after the shooting, officers detained three suspects in a car, police said.
