Death toll from massive earthquake in Turkey and Syria rises above 6,200 : So far the death toll in the devastating earthquakes in Syria and Turkey has crossed 6200. These figures are official. It is believed that the actual number of casualties could be much higher. Even now it is being told that people’s screams are coming from under the debris and relief work is going on on a war footing. India has also sent its help to Turkey. Some teams of NDRF have reached Turkey and are engaged in the mission of rescuing people.

More than 20 thousand people were injured in the accident

Along with Turkey, the earthquake has also caused havoc in Syria. The combined figures of both the countries could be much higher. According to one figure, more than 11,000 buildings have been completely destroyed in Turkey alone. The cries of the people buried under the debris of these buildings are still going on. International rescue teams are working to save people. At present, more than 25 thousand emergency responders are struggling to save people in the affected areas.

More than 2500 houses destroyed in Syria, real figures yet to be revealed

Aid could not be reached properly in the Syrian areas affected by the earthquake. Since a large part of the earthquake-affected areas is under the control of the rebels, the correct figures are not coming out from there. Meanwhile, according to the figures released by the Syrian government, more than 2500 houses have been destroyed in Syria so far. At the same time, the death toll has crossed 1000. Meanwhile, teams from countries like India, EU, USA, Russia, China, Japan, Australia are reaching Turkey and Syria for help. Let us tell you that earthquakes of magnitude 7.8, 7.3 and 6.4 have caused havoc in both the countries. Apart from this, many small tremors have also occurred after the earthquake.
