NDRF team leaves for Turkey
India’s first batch of humanitarian aid and disaster relief material was dispatched to Turkey along with a search and rescue team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and specially trained sniffer dogs. A team of trained doctors and paramedics will also be sent to Turkey with essential medicines. This team includes specially trained officers and jawans. 101 retrievers of NDRF will conduct the operation.
Decided to send 2 teams there
The first batch of earthquake relief material along with NDRF search and rescue teams, specially trained dog squads, medical supplies, drilling machines and other essential equipment have been sent from India to Turkey. The DIG of NDRF Ghaziabad gave information in the matter. He told that in view of the terrible accident caused by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the Government of India has decided to send two teams of NDRF there.
