Weather Update: Once again there was a change in the weather of entire North India including the national capital Delhi-NCR. The drizzling rain that started from Sunday afternoon turned into heavy rain in the night. The Meteorological Department told that the Western Disturbance and the winds blowing from both the oceans have created a low pressure area in the whole of North India. Because of which the humidity increased. The Meteorological Department has said that there may be light to moderate rain. A warning of thunderstorms with rain has been issued for entire North India including Delhi NCR. In the same mountains, there has been news of snowfall on Saturday.

The Meteorological Department said that the Western Disturbance was active for a long time, whose tail has become active. Further told that heavy moisture from both the seas is helping it. The same moisture is hitting the top of the Aravalli hill, due to which the phenomenon of lightning is being seen along with the rain. The expansion of which is raining from South Rajasthan to Delhi and the entire western India including the surrounding areas. The Meteorological Department has said that in the next two hours, some areas of Delhi, including Yamunanagar, Rewari, Palwal, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut will see thunderstorms with rain. The same will be seen in some areas of Rajasthan as well.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of Delhi has been recorded around 7 degrees, while the maximum temperature has been recorded at 22 degrees Celsius. Due to the active Western Disturbance and the rains, it is being expressed that the outbreak of cold will continue in the coming few days and the cold may disturb the people once again. Even this rain could not stop the Beating Retreat Ceremony and on Sunday evening, Beating Retreat was organized amidst the rain at Delhi’s Vijay Chowk. President Murmu, Prime Minister Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh were present on this occasion.
