PSL 2023: Lahore Qalandars won the PSL title for the second time in a row…..


Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans clashed for the title in the final match of the Pakistan Super League played on 18 March in Lahore. In this match, Lahore Qalandars defeated Multan Sultans by 1 run to win the PSL title for the second time.

In this match, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the Lahore team scored 200 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Multan Sultans were bundled out for 199 runs in 20 overs and Lahore team won by 1 run.

Batting first, opener Mirza Baig scored an inning of 30 runs for the Lahore Qalandars team. Fakhar Zaman scored 39 runs off 34 balls. For the team, Abdullah Shafiq played a stormy inning of 65 runs in 40 balls, which included 8 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from this, Shaheen Shah Afridi played an unbeaten inning of 44 runs to reach the team’s score of 200 runs.

On the other hand, Usama Mir took 3 wickets from Multan Sultans team, while Anwar, Ihsanullah and Khushdil Shah took 1-1 wickets.

This was the condition of the innings of Lahore Qalandars

After this, while chasing the target of 201 runs, Usman Khawaja played an inning of 18 runs in 12 balls for the Lahore Qalandars team. After this, Captain Mohammad Rizwan played an inning of 34 runs in 23 balls, which included a total of 5 fours. Riley Russo scored a half-century for the team. He scored 52 runs in 32 balls. After this Pollard scored 19 runs in 16 balls. Tim David played an inning of 20 runs. None of the batsmen could do anything special.
