Perfume IED has also been recovered from it. Arif was in touch with Lashkar-e-Taiba handlers based in Pakistan. It has made many revelations during interrogation.
According to Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh, two IEDs were planted on January 20. Two blasts were carried out the next day. 9 people were injured in these attacks. A terrorist named Arif has been arrested in this case. Arif, a resident of Reasi, is a government teacher. Perfume bomb has been recovered from it. According to the police, Arif was in contact with Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists sitting in Pakistan for the last three years.
DGP Dilbag Singh told that terrorist Arif had received 3 IEDs in December. Out of these, 2 IEDs were used in the blasts in Narwal area. It was in constant contact with Pakistani terrorists. Investigation has revealed that the planning to carry out the blasts was being done for a long time.
There was also a blast in the bus going to Vaishno Devi
During interrogation, Arif told that in May 2022 there was a bomb blast in a bus going to Katra. Four people were killed in this blast while 22 people were injured. Arif has admitted that he had planted the IED in this bus.
What is Perfume IED
According to the police, the perfume IED has been recovered for the first time. In this, IED (explosive) is filled in the perfume bottle. It is kept at the place of explosion. As soon as someone touches this bottle or tries to suppress it, it explodes. Its explosions are very dangerous. These blasts happen after a person comes in contact with the IED, so the loss of life and property is more.
