1. Late fee up to Rs 1000
Let us tell you that if you have not linked the pen with Aadhaar till March 31, 2023, then you may have to pay a late fee of Rs 1000 later. Along with this, your bank accounts should also be deactivated. Therefore, before March 31, 2023, make sure to link Aadhaar with PAN in time. Even sitting at home online, you can link pen with Aadhaar. Let us tell you that the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) is charging a late fee of Rs 1000 from June 30, 2022 itself.
2. Tax Savings Investment
Let us tell you that if you have not yet invested for tax savings for 2022-23, then do so immediately. Because you can get section 80C tax exemption by doing PPF, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, 5 years FD. If you have not invested yet, do it before March 31. Otherwise you may be deprived of tax exemption.
3. Income Tax Return
If you have not yet filed Income Tax Return (RTI), then do so. Otherwise fine may have to be paid. Because the Income Tax Department has asked to file income tax returns by 31 March. Along with this, the date of return has also been extended several times. That’s why file ATR in time.
4. Investment in PM Vaya Vandana Yojana
