Seoul. North Korea launched what appeared to be a missile into the sea. North Korea’s neighbors provided this information. North Korea is stepping up its testing activities following the US-South Korea joint military exercises. North Korea sees these military exercises as exercises to attack its own country. Japan’s defense ministry and Japan Coast Guard said North Korea launched what appeared to be a missile on Sunday morning. However, he did not reveal any details about the launch.
At the same time, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency quoted the South Korean military saying that North Korea had launched a ballistic missile into the eastern seas. If the missile launch is confirmed, it will be North Korea’s fourth weapon launch since South Korea-US joint military exercises began last week. North Korea considers the joint military exercises to be preparations for an attack on North Korea.
But the US and South Korea insist the exercises are defensive. This exercise will continue through Thursday. North Korea, which displays its military might, recently launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) Hwasong-17. North Korean state media reported that the country’s leader, Kim Jong Un, said the ICBM launch was intended to “instill fear in the enemy’s mind.”
