Nokia is set to make waves in the budget range of the Indian smart phone market. HMD Global has now officially launched its budget range 4G Smartphone C12V. Built on Android 12 Go Edition, the smartphone offers stock Android UI performance and low power consumption. The phone will go on sale on Amazon starting March 17 for Rs.5,999.
It features a 6.3-inch HD+ resolution display with 60Hz refresh rate. Coming in Dark Cyan, Charcoal, Light Mint colours, the smartphone has a plastic frame and back panel. They offer extra protection in the event of an unexpected drop down. Apart from this, the phone is also offering one year replacement guarantee.
The octa core (Unisoc 9863A1) processor powers the Nokia C12. Offering 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the phone can be further expanded up to 256GB of storage via a microSD card. The device supports wired, wireless FM radio.
The selfie camera is 5 MP with features like Face Unlock, Portrait Mode, Night Mode. The back camera of the phone is 8 MP. In addition, the optimized software experience with 30 percent faster app opening speed is also provided by this smart phone.
The Nokia C12 arrives with a 3,000mAh battery with support for 5V charging. The smartphone is IP52 rated against dust and dust. Will get two years of security patches from the global launch date. Android update information is not available.
