Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Governor General of Australia David Hurley on Wednesday. During this, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen people-to-people contacts and long-standing bilateral partnership between India and Australia. Modi met Hurley after wide-ranging talks with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. During the meeting with Albanese, the two leaders discussed focussing on boosting bilateral relations overall, besides areas such as trade, investment, defense and renewable energy. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs tweeted, talks were held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Governor General of Australia Hurley in Sydney.
