Speaker (Lok Sabha Speaker) Kirit Solanki, sitting on the chair, urged the members to sit down and stop sloganeering if they want a debate, but the opposition and the ruling party continued to raise slogans. Due to this the House was adjourned for the day.
Parliament faced with allegations and counter-allegations
In the morning session, the proceedings of the House lasted only for two minutes. As soon as the proceedings began, members of the Trinamool Congress gathered in the well of the House with their faces covered with black strips. Speaker Om Birla urged the members to allow the House to run, but to no avail. A similar scene was witnessed in the Rajya Sabha when the BJP insisted on Rahul apologizing for the London remark. In contrast, the opposition members demanded a Joint Parliamentary Committee inquiry into the investment of public money in the Adani group through institutions like LIC and SBI.

Instead of discussion, only uproar is being wreaked
After this, when the House resumed in the afternoon, many members had already gathered in the Well. Deputy Chairman Harivansh asked the members to return to their respective places and continue the proceedings. On the shouting of the members, he adjourned the House for the whole day after some time. Earlier in the day, Trinamool Congress members raised slogans saying they were not being allowed to speak and wore black masks in protest.
