On Monday, it hosted its tenth annual Juneteenth neighborhood celebration. All the festivities acquired began Monday morning with a parade and stroll.
There was even a neighborhood competition on museum grounds. And for the primary time, it hosted a Juneteenth youth basketball event championship.
The Field Museum is celebrating Juneteenth with a collection of occasions and free admission for Illinois residents.
