India Egypt Meeting In Delhi: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and PM Narendra Modi held a bilateral and representative level meeting in Delhi. During this, Prime Minister Modi (PM narendra modi) said that India and Egypt are among the oldest civilizations in the world. There has been a continuous relationship between us for many thousands of years. More than four thousand years ago, trade with Egypt used to take place through Lothal Port in Gujarat. Let us tell you that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will attend the Republic Day parade on January 26 as the chief guest.

PM Narendra Modi (PM narendra modi) said that despite many changes in the conditions of the world, our relations with Egypt remain intact. The foundation of our relationship has remained stable and support has grown stronger. He said that this year India has invited Egypt as the guest country during its G-20 presidency, which shows our special friendship.

He said that today we have also decided to further strengthen cooperation between our defense industries, increase exchange of information and intelligence related to counter-terrorism. Both India and Egypt are concerned about the increasing cases of terrorism globally. We both agree in our stand that terrorism is the greatest threat to humanity and must be dealt with in the strongest possible approach.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that cross-border terrorism should be dealt with strictly. India and Egypt will continue to raise their voice against it.
