London : Australia’s Troy Cooley has been appointed as the bowling coach of the Indian women’s cricket team ahead of the tri-series and the T20 World Cup here. He has been working as the fast bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru since 2021. The 57-year-old coach was with the victorious India A team that toured Bangladesh recently.
“Yes, he (Coole) will be with us,” skipper Harmanpreet Kaur said ahead of the tri-series against hosts South Africa. We have worked with him in NCA and almost every bowler knows him very well. He is already with the team and we are working with him. ,
