Pakistan: Horrific road accident in Peshawar, bus fell into ditch after collision with car, 30 died
Peshawar. A bus and a car collided in a horrific road accident in Peshawar, northwestern Pakistan. After this, at least 30 people have died after the bus fell into a deep gorge. At the same time, 15 people have been injured in this terrible road accident. This is the second such fatal accident in less than a week. The accident took place near Shatial Chowk in Diamir area of Gilgit Baltistan area. According to the local police, the bus was going from Gilgit to Rawalpindi. Then he had a head-on collision with a car coming from the opposite direction from Shatial area. After this, both the vehicles fell into a deep gorge. Police and rescue officials rushed to the spot and the injured and the dead bodies were taken to RHC hospital.
Police officials said that the rescue personnel had to face difficulty in relief and rescue work due to darkness. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the death of people in this accident. According to the official ‘Radio Pakistan’, Prime Minister Sharif expressed condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the souls of the dead. He has directed the officials to ensure proper treatment of the injured. President Arif Alvi has also condoled the death of people in the accident.
