Earthquake in Turkey: Four countries in the Middle East, Turkiye (old name Turkey), Syria, Lebanon and Israel were shaken by the earthquake on Monday morning. Two major earthquakes were felt here within 12 hours. The worst damage can be seen in the epicenter of Turkey and the areas of Syria near it. According to the news agency Reuters – 1014 people have lost their lives in Turkey so far. There are news of 5385 people injured. 783 people died in Syria.

According to Turkish media – two big shocks came. The first according to Turkish time, around 4 am (7.7) and the second around 10 am. The intensity of the second is considered to be 7.6. Apart from this, 78 aftershocks were recorded. Their intensity is 6.7 to 6.5.
783 people died in Syria and more than 1500 people were injured. The total death toll in both countries exceeded 1800. Tremors were also felt in Lebanon and Israel, but no damage was reported here.
The epicenter of the earthquake was the Turkish city of Gaziantep.

78 aftershocks occurred, intensity of more than 5 tremors more than 7
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the intensity of the 7 aftershocks that followed the first earthquake was greater than 5. Experts say that the aftershocks could be felt for days.

- Along with the European Union, India will also send aid to Turkey. The Government of India said- 2 NDRF teams consisting of 100 personnel with specially trained dog squads and necessary equipment are ready to go to the earthquake affected area.

4 major earthquakes occurred in Turkey
Tremors of 4 major earthquakes were felt in Turkey. 3 of these tremors came in just 30 minutes. The epicenter of the first earthquake was 30 kilometers away from the city of Gaziantep in the Kahramanmaraş province of Turkey and about 24 kilometers underground.
According to local time, this earthquake occurred at 4:17 am. The second aftershock of 6.7 magnitude occurred after 11 minutes ie at 4:28. Its center is 9.9 kilometers below the ground. The third earthquake of magnitude 5.6 also occurred 19 minutes later ie at 4:47 pm.

Heavy destruction occurred in 10 cities including Ankara, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaras, Diyarbakır, Malatya, Nurdagi. There are reports that more than 1,710 buildings have collapsed here.
