The Hyderabad Police on Friday put Bharatiya Janata Party MLA T Raja Singh beneath house arrest after he threatened to beat up comic Munawar Faruqui and burn down the venue the place he’s scheduled to carry out on Saturday, The News Minute reported.
“Since he has been planning to go to the venue and create violence, we have put him under detention,” stated Assistant Commissioner of Police (Goshamahal) R Satish Kumar.
