New Delhi. Search Engine Google dominates the world of online search, but if Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is to be believed, Google’s reign is coming to an end. In fact, the company is preparing to bring language-based artificial intelligence to his Microsoft search engine, Bing. Satya Nadella calls it a new beginning in the world of online search. At the launch event, Satya Nadella said, “This is a new beginning and the race begins today.”
Microsoft will equip its search engine Bing with powerful artificial intelligence, explaining that it uses the same technology that created the AI bot ChatGPT. In a short time, ChatGPT has surpassed his 100 million users and is hugely popular all over the world. ChatGPT has a huge boom among ChatGPT users as it completes many tasks such as writing essays, preparing speeches, helping with exams, etc. in seconds. Microsoft believes that the inclusion of ChatGPT in its search engine Bing will significantly upgrade online search.
ChatGPT was developed by OpenAI, a California-based startup. This startup started in 2015. In 2019, Microsoft invested his $1 billion in OpenAI. Apart from this, the startup recently signed a multi-billion dollar deal with the company. Many other companies have also invested in the startup, including Elon Musk.
Google’s dominance in the world of online search can be judged by the fact that Google holds 84% of the global market for online search. The company generates more than $10 billion in advertising revenue each quarter, which accounts for his two-thirds of the company’s total revenue. At the same time, Microsoft’s Bing has his 9% share in online searches.
