Congress Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congress has described ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ as a ‘booster dose’. But, whether it will be able to breathe new life for it in election states like Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka, is a question of lakhs. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh has repeatedly reiterated that this was not an election yatra but an ideological yatra, but political pundits say the real test will be whether it will have any impact on the polls and whether it will win the Congress in the 2024 elections. By breathing new life, she will be able to decide her electoral future. Assembly elections are likely to be held in nine states this year and the yatra has passed through four of these states – Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana.
