Two women are said to have thrown stones and kicked police officers in Berlin-Mitte. At the request of a 30-year-old, the officials checked the vital signs of her 33-year-old companion at Friedrichstrasse underground station, said a police spokeswoman.
During the control on Sunday evening, the women became aggressive: the 33-year-old is said to have first insulted the officials, then climbed onto the subway track bed and threw stones at the officials from there. Meanwhile, the 30-year-old kicked an officer and threw a plastic bottle at him, it said.
Women attack the Berlin police – two officers are slightly injured
The officers arrested the women. According to Monday’s information, both women said they were pregnant and complained of pain during the arrest. For this reason, emergency services took her to a hospital – where the pregnancy turned out to be a fairy tale.
The women are now being investigated for, among other things, assaulting law enforcement officials. The officers were slightly injured, according to the police, but continued their service.
