US health officials are in favor of making the Kovid-19 vaccination similar to the once-a-year flu vaccine. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Monday proposed to simplify the approach to future vaccination efforts and allow children and most adults to get the Covid vaccine once a year instead of twice. According to the proposal, Americans will not have to keep track of how many times they have gotten vaccinated and how many months have passed since they got vaccinated. Nearly 80 percent of the US population has received at least one dose of the vaccine, but only 16 percent of those eligible for the latest preventive dose (booster) authorized in August have received a second shot. Will ask a panel to consider it.
