Both Dhaka movies have been released in the theaters of the country. After a month on Friday (May 26), a new Dhakai movie was released in theaters. One is ‘Maa’ by Aranya Anwar, the other is ‘Adim’ by Yuvraj Shamim. Both the movies are being screened in three halls.
Among these, ‘Maa’ will be seen in the capital’s Star Cineplex (Mirpur), Blockbuster Cinemas (Yamuna Future Park) and Roots Cineclub (Sirajganj). And ‘Adim’ was released at Star Cineplex (Basundhara), Blockbuster Cinemas (Yamuna Future Park) and Cinescope (Narayanganj). These two movies will be shown in 9 shows each day.
The story of the movie ‘Ma’ is during the liberation war. An emotional story of a helpless mother with a seven-month-old child who was declared dead. Parimani played the role of mother in it. There are also Azad Abul Kalam, Farzana Pics, Saju Khadem, Robena Karim Jui, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Shahadat Hossain and others.
‘Adim’ is built in a slum in Tongi. The story also revolves around that slum. Badsha, Dulal, Sohagi, Sadek and others acted in it. The movie has been crowdfunded under the banner of the producer’s own company ‘Rasayan’.
