New Delhi: A week ago we reported on how Vancouver-based robotics firm Sanctuary AI and Tesla are planning to replace workers with their AI-powered robots. Now, another organization appears to have officially deployed its humanoid robot in a professional environment.

Sam Altman’s OpenAI-powered robotics startup 1X, followed Elon Musk’s Tesla in deploying the first AI robot in the workforce. A robot named EVE has reportedly been employed as a security guard at an Android manufacturing site. Surveillance and Security Robot Reinventive Report.

Advanced surveillance systems like cameras, motion detectors, alarm sensors support the EVE. And, the craziest part of the robot is that, if an android misbehaves, the EVI can enter and take control of its body through virtual reality.

OpenAI is reportedly investing in a company to help build a new humanoid robot with ears. The San Francisco-based AI powerhouse has the most extensive EVE in the world. We all know about the potential of OpenAI’s ChatGipt, now imagine if OpenAI would bring ChatGipt to a humanoid robot.

1x Neo

Humanoid robotics firm 1X Technologies recently announced a Series A2 funding round led by OpenAI to build Androids in a commercial sale. The company is believed to be planning to use the funds to expand its efforts to build its bipedal Android robot Neo, and to make the EV available to Norway and North America.

1X aka Hellody Robotics is a Android manufacturing company. According to the description on the official website, 1X is at the forefront of increasing the workforce through the use of safe and innovative technologies in robotics. Meanwhile, Brad Lightkup, COO of OpenAI and manager of the OpenAI Start-up Fund, said the company believes in 1X’s approach and the impact it will have on the future of work.
